I get more alcohol from my dad than anyone else.
My dad’s a wine connoisseur. He won second place in Illinois for wine tasting and trivia, and even then he lost by only two points to a guy named, ‘Fernando Baptista.’

I'm reading the Dexter books.
I’m about 1/5th of the way into the first one. Jeff Lindsay’s writing style is almost identical to mine, aside from the tenses. Also, he majorly needs an editor.

I’m starting to finally come to terms with the fact that I’m not a stick anymore.
My eighth grade year I was 5’8” and 115 pounds. No boobs, no ass, no hips…a complete stick. My freshman year I started gaining weight and growing. Now, I wasn’t getting fat but just going through the inevitable changes every girl has to go through at some point to some extent....

Panic.
The kind that manifests from realizing the inevitable: the passage and eventual end of time.
You can hold small memories, snapshots and fragments in front of your eyes. Memories, in the past, that are not currently relevant or happening. The only thing to do is to enjoy these moments as they come and leave, but that does not quench the feeling. It only pushes it out of the immediate mind.
